Bonneville Shoreline Trail/Bobsled

As with all good in my life, I have the tendency to abuse the hell out of them. A new camera? Shoot, shoot, shoot. A new drink? Drink, drink, drink. So is the case with this new lens I wrote about yesterday. I have barely put it down. I did a ton of research prior to buying this lens and I could give you the "classic" review of this thing. But that really isn't my style, now is it? Everyone said that you can't shoot sports with this lens. "It is too slow. It is too hard to focus." Then you had the others. "You have to use a tripod." I'm not shooting landscapes here! I am shooting guys bombing the Bobsled. I don't like to be told I can't do something, so I think I took the lens on our ride today just because everyone said you couldn't. I'll show them! Read more...

Glad you had so much fun with your new lens. I'll say it again, you're amazing. It's great to see your pictures, but also neat how you write about them. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this and share it with us all.
