King's Peak

This weekend Tim, Daniel, Carrie, my dad, and I went up the Uintas to hike King's Peak. It was a fantastic hike. I enjoyed spending time with my family, building better relationships with them and seeing parts of the amazing country we live it.

The pictures look awesome. If you don't like sleeping on the hard ground you should by a thermarest. They are awesome at taking that edge off. Wasn't Emily supposed to go with you all on this hike?

Hi Kirk, I just wrote this wonderful long comment expressing my gratitude for you taking the pictures, about how incredible they are, and how awesome I think all of you for tackling such an amazing hike, and I lost it because I don't know how to sign in. I am pretty illiterate when it comes to blogs. I can never get my comments to stay. If this does work, I just want you to know how wonderful it is that you were able to capture such beauty on this hike and I loved how you journaled the pictures too. Thank you for letting us be part of this hike through your incredible pictures.

Jan, thanks for your great comments. Yes, Emily was suppose to go, but decided to go Yellowstone (I think).

Mom, I am glad that you liked the photos. I enjoy many more things because of the photography. I sent some to the printer yesterday and will bring them up this weekend. A photo on the computer is nice, but there is still nothing quite like holding the actual photo in your hands.
