Cave of Roses

I thought I would post a photo or two from the shoot I did last night with a group called Cave of Roses. They are a local band from Salt Lake and I think we came up with some great photos. They practice in a studio in downtown Salt Lake and this first picture was taken in this old nasty boiler room in the basement. It was perfect for the kind of photo I was trying to achieve. The second photo was outside of the studio and we shot it around 11 pm. It was as cold as hell, but every bit worth the cold for the photo.

These look great. I'm in another band that is close friends with both VINIA and Cave of Roses so I've followed your stuff for a few weeks.

While I love the VINIA set, these two shots give off such a bigger atmosphere. The outdoor shot is probably my favorite of the two. Can't wait to see the rest of the shoot.

Not sure if you have done much in terms of promo shots for bands, but judging by these last two projects - I'm almost positive you might have yourself another client down the road (once my band is ready).

Take it easy, keep it up!

Hey Dylan. I appreciate the comments and I am glad that you like the photos. I would be happy to shoot your band when you are ready. Let me know and thanks for visiting my site.
