Christmas Lights

The weather was actually very pleasant. Cold, but not bitterly cold. It was extremely busy for a Sunday evening, but I guess that shouldn't surprise me as tomorrow is Christmas Eve.

I can't believe it is already Christmas. It doesn't really feel like it, but then in never really does anymore. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season.

After seeing the lights we went to the Red Iguana, but they had a forty minute wait. We ended up at the Rio Grande Cafe instead and had a good time watching Baylie and Tyson spill their drinks on themselves. All in all, it was a very nice evening and a great way to bring in the holiday (which is already here). I did get a great picture of Jill, Baylie, and Susan at dinner.

Photos of Salt Lake

I was wandering around Salt Lake, as I am prone to do on a regular basis, and have added some photos from my wanderings. It was a gorgeous day. It snowed six to eight inches yesterday, but today we had clear blue skies. As many times I have shot this city I am still amazed at the number of new and interesting things I find.

I was circling the City Center building, taking pictures of the weird stuff on the building and met another photographer who was also taking pictures of the building. We struck up a conversation about the building and how there was so much symbolism on the building. He was a lot of fun to talk to. I didn't put up any of these photos because I was thinking about doing a whole post on the symbolism on this building. That would take some time.
